Welcome to Allen's
guide service with
Guide Scott Allen.
Based out of Green Bay
Wisconsin we are able to
target the hottest bite
and best hunting times
for a successful
guide trip no matter
the time of year of
species of game.
We fish for salmon,
trout, smallmouth,
walleye, and muskie.
We hunt for whitetail
deer, turkey, and bear.
Fishing
Updates
7/14/2010
If you like trolling many walleye can be caught in the south
end of the bay with crank baits like Thunderstick Jrs. or
Flicker Shads. Many
anglers are switching over to crawler harnesses and having
good success. Try the shallow reef areas of Volks Reef or the
weeds inside Genos Reef. The larger fish are moving into the
deeper water and don't forget to run a few baits up high.
We had a great day with
Jane and Gus on the Bay jigging for walleye. What a great
birthday gift for Gus.
We finished the weekend
with an evening out of Algoma with the boys. We ended up
with 2 nice King Salmon
Hunting
Updates
7/13/2010
The youth hunt has come and gone. After a miss and several
close encounters we finally scored Sunday afternoon. Tyler
Laduron hunting with us in the Crivitz area made a great 35
yrd. shot on his turkey, this being his final year to
qualify for the youth hunt.
CONGRATULATIONS TYLER
We are starting to see
nice antler growth on our deer heard and many does have been
spotted with twin fawns which shows that the heard looks
healthy
Tournament Updates
The
Aim tournament stopped in Green Bay over the Fourth of July.
The weights were very impressive with many fish over 28"
brought in. Although I didn't have enough weight to make the
final day cut, my partner Tom Sieg and myself did set an Aim
record for largest fish landing a 32 1/4" giant that CPR
weighed in at 14.25#.
Tom Sieg with
14.25# Aim record caught July 3rd.
Greg with 30" giant caught July 1st.
My
next stop will be at Saginaw Bay fishing in the MWC out of
Au Gres the 6&7 of Aug.
